    I am a maths teacher, so Isaac Newton is one of my heroes. I think he was a brilliant mathematician and scientist, but I don’t think I would have wanted to meet him. This is because I have read lots of stories about Isaac Newton arguing with other scientists and mathematicians, such as Robert Hooke and a famous German mathematician called Liebniz. Isaac Newton doesn’t sound like he was very easy to get along with.

    I’m sure by now you have learned lots of facts about Sir Isaac Newton but did you know he was friends with the astronomer Edmund Halley the man who has a comet named after him??
